By adding an extra touch to your digital photos, even your desk top can become cool & original !

Start up Photo Express 4 SE for Wacom, and open the photos you want to combine from the Browse screen.

Using the Trace tool, lets trace the puppy, and paste it onto the background image.
From the menu bar, go to EDIT, then select Trace.

Pick the type of edge for the selection.
For a natural photo collage, pick the third one from the left.

After picking the type of edge, trace around the edge of the dog with your pen.

To finish (finalize) the selection, double-click with the pen when you reach the starting point of the selection.

Once you double-click at the connecting point, the selected part will be outlined by a green dotted line.
Then copy the selection by pressing the [Ctrl]+[C] keys, or go to Edit in the menu bar, and choose Copy.

Open the background image by double-clicking on the thumbnail at the bottom.

Paste the selection onto the background by pressing [Ctrl]+[V], or go to Edit in the menu bar, and choose Paste.

When the selection you've pasted is too large or too small, easily adjust the selection by using the Rotate & Resize function.

The Square corner and sides adjusts the size, and the Circle corner rotates the image.

Next, open up the sunflower image, and make a selection of the sunflower.

Since this image is a simple photo with white background, make the selection By Color.

1. Choose the type of edge.
2. Click anywhere in the "white" area on the image

On the left, the white area that surrounds the sunflower is selected. In order to select the sunflower itself, invert the selection by clicking the inverse button in the quick selection menu.

Once the sunflower is selected, paste it onto the background image as you did with the puppy, by Copy and Paste. Then adjust the size, and move the sunflower to the left bottom corner.

Now the background photo collage is completed !
Simply use this new image as wallpaper, or you can add a calendar to the image as well.

From the menu bar, go to Share and then click on Calendar.

Choose the design template, and click NEXT at the bottom.

When you choose a template, your image will automatically be replaced with the template's image. Either use the template as is, or customize the design by deleting portions of the template. To create the puppy wallpaper calendar, delete the rectangle and bars.
