Wacom Australia in conjunction with InfoHome Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the release of the InfoPad Paperless Form Processing Solution

The software and hardware solution, offered by InfoHome, provides a paperless process that allows customers to enter information using a familiar "paper" form layout and pen tablet interface. InfoPad takes advantage of both SignPAD's pressure-sensitive tablet technology and LCD display for smooth and easy handwriting. E liminat ing the need for paper forms, along with the need for scanning, archiving, storage and paper document destruction , InfoPad reduces the cost of distributing pre-printed forms and allows any future changes to form layouts or content to be rolled out in real-time across all points of contact within an organisation.

InfoPad is perfect for applications within financial, insurance, public-services and educational organi z ations , and can be utilized in a number of broad ways including:

The InfoPad solution comprises of a Wacom SignPAD (STU-500) connected via a single USB cable to a device controller (one controller can handle up to 16 SignPAD s if required). All the local processing and interface to business application suites is undertaken by the device controller - using the highest Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards. In addition InfoPad can be integrated into point - of - sale systems, for example, in banking and insurance environments.

The SignPAD ( STU-500 ) signature capture pad from Wacom was selected for integration with the InfoPad system because its USB cable interface provides a simple , one-cable connection yet delivers full LCD screen display capabilities .
